3 Gifts of Enthusiasm

1. It shows a value for someone or something.

2. It excites me to work or labor with zeal and commitment in what I'm doing.

3. It motivates and encourages others.

Out of curiosity I looked up the definition of enthusiasm. The first definition listed: A believe in special revelations of the Holy Spirit.

"Really, Mom?!"

7.3.2015

A Gift in Faith, Family, Freedom

1. A gift in faith . . . as I think about this I think for me in my life it would be the HOPE and PURPOSE I have in God's redeeming GRACE in Christ.

"At every moment you have to decide to trust the voice that says, 'I love you. I knit you together in your mother's womb' (Psalm 139:13)"; "Stop wandering around. Instead come home and trust that God will bring you what you need." Henri Nowen, The Inner Voice of Love

2. A gift in family . . . belonging.

3. A gift in Freedom  . . . freedom releases me from fear . . . over the years I have struggled with fear in various ways. As I have learned to rest, trust, and remain in God's unwavering kindness towards me I have known freedom from fear that at times has paralyzed me. It was for FREEDOM that Christ has set me FREE!

That day we all met at delancey . . . we weren't disappointed!

Our little book club. Karin and Charissa--two beautiful and amazing women!

3 Gifts Read

1. Recipe for dairy free oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. It's nice when you can find recipes where you can actually eat the cookie. Enjoyed making them with my Lia-Joy.

2. Queen of Sheba by our friend Mattie Hon. I finished the book today. An excellent read.

3. A long email from a friend. Miles separate us so long notes are such a gift.

178 days x 3 gifts = 534 gifts of grace and beauty

3 Gifts Loved

1. Lia and her Daddy. Lia adores Todd and I love watching her light up when he is near. As Todd left for work in a thunderstorm, Lia stood in the garage waving until he was out of sight. Love.

2. My friend Mattie wrote a book, Queen of Sheba. It's a wonderful read. What I love most about this story is what it has been stirring in heart for Jehovah. A longing to know more deeply, seek more earnestly and love more with all my being.

3. Lunch with three beautiful friends . . . laughter is good medicine.

I'm going to post pictures from our trip to Seattle for a few days. We're in love with the PNW!

Losee Home. Our home away from home for two nights.

Can we move here?

Zach out in the Pugent Sound paddle boarding.

3 Gifts Given Today

1. Time. Perhaps one of the greatest gift to give is to be present with who you are with.

2. Package to be mailed full of goodies for a friend. It's rare to get mail these days. I love getting real mail.

3. Hugs and more hugs. I think hugs should be couldn't with spiritual gifts.

Loved the Public Market. Can't wait to return to Seattle.

We met Christina when she attended Mizzou for Graduate School. It was so wonderful to reconnect with her and her sweet daughter at the Public Market.
