Todd: "Lia, tell me how your day was."
Lia: "Well, I told Mom that I know everything and she said that I didn't!"
This morning I had offered Lia something to drink. She said she would like juice. I poured juice. She didn't want that juice, she wanted the other juice. I explained that we only had this juice or she could have milk or water. Suddenly, we went from having a quiet morning to Lia shouting at the top of her lungs, "I said get me what I want!"
No need to give all the details of the rest of the events of the morning. Thankfully, our day improved.
