908 24-7 or put another way, 24-7 at 908. or the downtown venue. or . . . well, i could probably go on and on with the various ways we could describe this fantastic place downtown that we have as a church. we are using this "sacred space" for prayer. it's fantastic and i love going down there to have some time alone with Jesus. this week we have been having a week of 24-7 prayer. i have an early morning time slot. it's great. i get up, leave our house and drive downtown. the city is quiet. there are very few people on the roads. i arrive at 908 light some candles, dim the lights and sit with Jesus. it really is wonderful.
there is one problem though. when i get home i struggle to fall asleep. the sun is rising! the birds are chirping! i am awake! when i got home i went straight to bed and just tossed and turned. after about 30 minutes i got up. I've been sitting in the living room searching for apartments in kansas city (which is really unbelievable). i need a plan on how to get myself back to sleep because i will be toast by this afternoon.
go to sleep.
