A Gift Sung, Written, Painted

1. The song, No Longer Slaves, by Jonathan David and Melissa Hesler, has been on repeat for several weeks. The song is bold, beautiful, simple and yet profound.

You unravel me, with a melody
You surround me with a song
Of deliverance, from my enemies
Till all my fears are gone
I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

From my mothers womb
You have chosen me
Love has called my name
I’ve been born again, into your family
Your blood flows through my veins

You split the sea
So I could walk right through it
All my fears were drowned in perfect love
You rescued me
So I could stand and sing
I am child of God

2. Gilead by Marylinne Robinson. It's Spring and I haven't read it in a couple of years so I begin again.

3. Tree and birds on wire by Ray-Ray. She painted this as a house warming gift when we moved into our home in Lenexa.
