3 Gifts before 9 AM
1. Morning tea and reading on the patio.
2. My 1/2 mile walk to school/work. In the words of my dear friend, Ray-Ray, I'm living the dream.
3. Prayers and hugs and tears and conversations with the sweet 6th graders as we processed a classmate that had to transition from our school.
The craziest thing happened this evening. Zach and I went to the patio to start the bbq grill. Zach noticed there was a lot of activity around our little pear tree. We soon realized we had a swarm of bees nestled nicely in the tree. Thousands of bees had formed what looked like a pod--one stacked on top of the next. Around the tree some flew around and then would join the rest of the gang. What the What? It was amazing! Zach suggested we contact our friend Brad who is a bee keeper--great idea. Brad soon arrived in his bee suit with a box to gather the Queen and her followers. It was fascinating.!
After an emotional day, the bees and the news that my NEW/USED CAMERA is on its way made for a sweet little gift.
